no chibi trigger this ep, kinda missing the homestyle vibe of s1. S2 has it beat in the animation department and the op and ed, but the little changes in trion color and trion damage are annoying and the chibi reveiw at the end of every ep will surely be missed.

The only okay, primary, but I can't image what else they could be for reason the chibi sections were in last season was to recap on the new piece of world building that dropped that episode. Since world building isn't the focus this season, there isn't a need for it, especially since you should be fully familiar with how Triggers and Trion works.

it's got to be emotionally exhausting having someone like Yoko on their team. I don't care if she has the potential to be good, I really hope somehow in the future the other two drop her. even if they can't find someone else that's better, I feel someone like her who claims to be good but then doesn't actually provide results because she doesn't have the will to try her best is just too taxing.

Chika and Mikumo got a power up so they are not useless.

second time watching but that katori is still as spiteful as ever!! i wanna give her some backhand slap. she created the disadvantage in their team but she still acted like she had done nothing. what an arrogant bitch. sorry but personally, she's actually the most unlikeable character in this series

I find it curious they still call it RADAR even though I severely doubt it uses radio to detect and range. Maybe TRIDAR would be more appropriate, but then the meaning would be lost for those that can't reason.

it's like how we still use so many terms that aren't accurate anymore or outdated/obsolete. so I'm not gonna think too hard about that. radar is an established and widely known human invention, so it makes sense that something of the same function but just powered by trion kept the original name.

edit: a good example would be to "dial" that number. that would have referred to physically typing something or using a dial. but we still use it. or "roll down" or "wind down" the car window despite no modern car using handles to wind anymore.

or "Hang up the phone".

I know, I know, it's just I'm a stickler for accuracy in terminology. I design arms, armour and other anomalous augmentations as a hobby, which sometimes requires new terms to be created and I try to make them as accurate and non-derivative as possible, even if there's more sense for antiquated terms, so I like to see similar things reflected in the world around me.

well that's quite interesting. I use to be strict with language but over time I come to my personal conclusion that it's nice to be fluid and free. I respect your strictness for it tho. It's quite interesting learning how that habit has stemmed. Perhaps they chose not to be so specific due to how wide of a field Border is. They are recruiting a lot of normal people or soldiers, so making highly technical terms for the common guy might not be desirable? Perhaps there is more precision in the engineering fields and operators?
